Welcome to our Job Search Workshops

Achieving new employment depends on how well candidates are able to conduct a job search. Every month, Uppsala International Hub host a workshop designed to help participants learn more about applying for jobs, and seeks their participation to share useful information and network with new peers. 

Suggested programme Content (to be tailored to participants' needs)

- Setting a job search objective

- Improving CV and Cover letter presentation

- Interviewing skills – both online and in person

- LinkedIn and online presence

- Understanding today’s job market and where to find new roles

- Creating a personal action plan

Requirements 

When registering, make sure that you provide a short description of what you would like to discuss so that our job coach can prepare to help you in the best way possible.

This workshop will be held in English. As we will work collaboratively, all participants are required to bring at least one of the following documents: cv/resumé, cover letter, Linkedin (or similar) profile. We recommend bringing a laptop computer but it is not required.

Join us for this interactive workshop where you can receive feedback from the program facilitator and peers to gain in confidence, clarity, and improve application materials.

Please note that space is limited to 16 participants.
