Expat Coffee Morning

Location: Stadsbiblioteket (Svartbäcksgatan 17, 753 75 Uppsala)
Join us for this coffee morning where we bring together local Swedes from Uppsala and the international community. This is an informal event where you can meet new people, take part in a discussion around culture, enjoy interesting conversations, drink tea and coffee, and eat buns- not a bad way to spend your morning!
This time we will start with a group discussion around culture and then break off to meet new people.

Job Search Workshop

Getting a new job often comes down to how well you run your job search. This hands-on workshop will help you learn practical tips for applying for jobs, while giving you the chance to share ideas, swap experiences, and connect with others on the same journey.
What We’ll Cover

- Setting your job search goals
- Creating stronger CVs and cover letters
- Building confidence for interviews – online and in person
- Boosting your LinkedIn and online presence
- Understanding today’s job market and finding new opportunities
- Putting together your own action plan
Recommendations
The workshop will be held in English. Since we’ll be working together on real examples, please bring at least one of the following: your CV/résumé, a cover letter, or your LinkedIn (or similar) profile. A laptop is helpful but not required.
Join us for this interactive session to get feedback from the facilitator and your peers, gain confidence and clarity, and walk away with stronger job application materials.
