Getting to Uppsala

Uppsala is an easy destination, what ever way you chose to travel.

Arriving by air

Stockholm Arlanda International Airport is just 35 kilometres south of Uppsala. From the airport you can easily take a commuter train or regional bus (bus number 801) to Uppsala, with regular departures throughout the day. If you take a taxi, choose one from the official taxi ranks and ask for a fixed price in advance. Tips are included in your fare and you pay by card.

Note! Due to covid-19 restrictions, it is not possible to buy a ticket on board buses. A valid ticket is still required. With travel funds on the UL card, you can buy a ticket in UL’s vending machines or at the UL Center. For other tickets, check the UL app or sales representative.
