Trung Thu, the Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival, is traditionally a celebration for children and families, marking the harvest and a time of togetherness. Join us for a warm, family-friendly afternoon where you can learn about this beautiful tradition and share it with friends from Sweden and beyond.

What to expect:

• Storytelling about the origins and meaning of Trung Thu
• Making lanterns / handmade decorations together
• Tasting traditional mooncakes and tea

The event will be held in Vietnamese and Swedish. It's a great fit for Vietnamese families as well as Swedish friends curious about Vietnamese culture. No preparation needed, just come with an open mind and enjoy the afternoon.

Join us for this cozy gathering to celebrate the season, connect with the community, and take home a lantern you made yourself.

Note: Spots are limited to 15 participants.

As this event is designed especially for children, we kindly ask families to limit the number of accompanying adults to one adult per child. This helps us prioritise children's participation and make the best use of our limited space. Maximum 15 participants in total, including children and accompanying adults.
