Försäkringskassan Presentation: 13 February 10-12

The purpose of the Sweden's Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) is to provide financial security at the various stages of life. However, it can be difficult to understand how it works and which benefits you and your family are entitled to if you are new to the country.

This event is organized by International Citizen Hub Lund, but will be held as a hybrid event via Teams. In the presentation, Henrik Malmquist, a representative from Försäkringskassan, will go through the basics and answer your questions. Some of the questions that will be addressed include:

• Do I need to register at Försäkringskassan?
• What happens if I’m sick and can’t work for a couple of weeks?
• Am I insured if I travel to another country?
• What benefits can my family receive?
