Aquathon is a fast-paced, summer-themed hackathon organized by Byte Me in collaboration with Uppsala International Hub. The event brings together individuals who enjoy coding, building, and experimenting with ideas in a creative and supportive environment.

Designed as a short and energetic challenge, Aquathon encourages participants to develop prototypes, explore new technologies, and collaborate across disciplines within a limited timeframe. With a summer-inspired theme, participants will be invited to create projects that capture a light, creative, and playful summer vibe, while exploring innovative ideas.

The event emphasizes creativity, learning, and hands-on problem-solving, rather than competition alone.

Aquathon is open to anyone with an interest in technology – whether you are an experienced developer, a creative thinker, or simply curious to learn and try something new. It provides a welcoming space to explore ideas, gain experience, and connect with like-minded individuals in the Uppsala tech community.

To support a relaxed and social atmosphere, fika, snacks, and coffee will be provided throughout the event. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops and a good mood.
