Curious about everything? Let’s talk about it.
If you love diving into a good non-fiction book and always find yourself wishing you had someone to chat with about it afterward, welcome to the Uppsala Circle.
We aren't here to quiz you, give grades, or make things feel like a rigid university lecture. We’re simply a community of curious people who love exploring the world through the pages of a book. Our interests are broad because the world is broad. We look at where we’ve been, where we are right now, and where we might be heading next.
That means our reading list spans a vast landscape across both the sciences and the humanities. We are interested in the big, foundational ideas that help us understand the world around us. One month we might dive into the roots of human behavior, and the next, we might explore the fundamental principles governing nature. We love tracing important concepts back to their origins and authors, giving us a clearer lens to see how they shape our collective direction and societal trends.
Whether you’re a lifelong non-fiction enthusiast or someone just looking to broaden your horizons and learn about topics you’ve never even touched before, there is a seat at the table for you. No pretension, no pressure. Just great books, fascinating insights, and even better conversations.
