Time: 13:50

Location: Vaksala Square (Vaksala Torg)

Join the Inaguration for All the Lights in Uppsala (Allt ljus på Uppsala) 2026. We light this year's festival on the theme "Courage. Patience." with short conversations, and the chance to meet with the organizers and artists. Gather friends, colleagues or family and experience the light works first of all – talk about what you see and feel how the city changes in the light.

All Light at Uppsala is an annual light festival that lights up the city for three weeks in November. Through artistic light works in the city's public spaces, new perspectives, emotions and conversations are awakened. The festival is a creative collaboration between artists, the city and the audience – with a focus on sustainability, community and change.

Dress warmly and feel free to arrive a few minutes before.

Physical maps of the exhibit locations are available at the Info Points around the city or digitally via the event website.
